It depends on the piece, and every product page says so in the same place. Twenty-nine pieces here arrive filled and ready to use. Seventeen are covers only, with nothing inside, made for people who already own inserts. That one line is the most important thing on a cushion page, and it is worth reading before ordering rather than after.

One to two inches larger than the cover. An eighteen-inch cover wants a twenty-inch insert. Matching the numbers exactly gives you a cushion that is technically full and visually flat, with empty corners; overfilling slightly is what makes a cushion stand up on a sofa, and it is what every photograph of a well-dressed room is doing.

Fifty-one pieces in the range are machine washable and each of those says so on its own page. Cold water, gentle cycle, zipper closed. What matters more than the wash is the dry: do not tumble dry anything with a pile, because heat flattens velvet, plush and faux fur permanently in a way that years of ordinary use will not.

Almost certainly not. Velvet is a standing pile and it crushes where it is leaned on, which looks permanent and usually is not. Steam it from six inches away, brush the fibers upright with a soft clothes brush while they are damp, and the patch lifts. Faux fur is different — it mats rather than crushes, and it wants a wide-tooth comb worked through it dry.

Any dyed textile in direct sun will shift over years, and the deeper the color the more visible it is when it does. The practical answer is to rotate cushions occasionally so one face is not always to the window, in the same way you would turn a rug. Natural fiber baskets do the opposite — they deepen slightly in the first year and then stop.

Dye lots. Fabric is dyed in batches, and velvet shows the difference between two batches more than any other fabric here because the pile catches the light. Pieces bought together came off the same roll. If a matched pair matters, buy the pair at once rather than adding a second one later, and the same applies to woven baskets standing in a row.

In twenty of them, yes, and each of those pages says so. Glass is clearer than acrylic, stays flat in a large opening and does not scuff when it is wiped. It is heavier and it breaks, which is the trade. Where a listing does not state the glazing, this site leaves the field blank rather than guessing.

Twenty of them do all three: easel on a table, hook on a wall, or flat on a shelf. Others are one or two of those. The mount type is listed on every frame's page because it is not something you can tell reliably from a photograph, and it is the thing that decides whether a frame works where you meant to put it.

At arm's length yes, under a lamp no. Polyresin is cast from a mold and then finished by hand, so an antiqued or brushed surface varies slightly from piece to piece. It is how the process works rather than a defect, and it is the reason a set of three on a shelf looks like a set instead of like three copies.

A dry cloth first, and a barely damp one only if the dry cloth fails. Do not soak a cast piece or use a solvent on it: the finish sits on top of the casting and comes off the raised edges first. Woven paper straw and rattan want a dry brush and no water at all, because water swells the fiber and leaves a tide line.

It is. Soft goods ship vacuum-packed, which is why a package holding two large cushions arrives the size of a book. Take them out of the bag straight away, shake them out, and leave them overnight somewhere warm. The loft comes back on its own, and a cushion cannot be judged on the day it lands.
