What this one is for
A monstera leaf is one of the few plant shapes that survives being turned into a cushion, because the splits in the edge do the work that a printed pattern usually has to fake. Ours are cut to that outline rather than printed on a square, so the silhouette shows against a plain sofa back from the far side of the room.
Light green over dark green is the natural pairing: on a real plant the young leaf is paler than the mature one, and stacking the two shades looks like the same plant at two ages. Overlap them slightly at the corner of a sofa and the effect is a small planting rather than two objects placed apart.
Both pieces are velvet-feel on the face with a plush backing and PP fiber inside, filled and closed with no insert to buy. They wash cold in the machine, on their own, and dry on a low tumble. Being handmade, each leaf is cut and stitched individually, so the notches never fall in exactly the same place twice.
