What this one is for
This is the piece people buy when a room is finished but flat. A neutral sofa reads as calm from the doorway and as unfinished from the seat, and one saturated round shape fixes that faster than a second lamp or a new rug. At 20.4 inches across it is a full-size cushion rather than an accent, so it holds its own in the corner of a three-seater instead of getting swallowed.
The petals are cut from a velvet-feel pile and the center is a flatter cotton weave, which is what keeps it from looking like a costume prop: the two textures catch light differently, so the shape reads even in a photograph. It arrives filled with PP fiber and ready to sit on. Machine wash cold on its own, tumble dry low, and keep bleach away from the yellow.
Every one is finished by hand, so the diameter moves a fraction either way and no two centers are stitched identically. Ours comes vacuum-packed, which is the only awkward part of the whole thing: it will look thin and sorry for the first evening. Shake it out, leave it somewhere warm for a day or two, and it recovers its full loft on its own.
