Red on a lip shape is the obvious choice, which is why it is worth being precise about where it goes. Against a charcoal or navy sofa it is the single point of color and looks deliberate. Against a warm brown or a beige it turns muddy and looks like an afterthought. Dark and neutral behind it, red in front.

Velvet-feel polyester over PP fiber, filled and closed with nothing to insert. Machine wash cold and on its own, particularly early on, since red is the dye most likely to travel. Tumble dry low, no bleach, and a day or two out of the bag to recover its thickness.
