Care notes

Pillows and covers

• Machine wash cold and separately; strong dyes (lime, red, navy) can run on the first wash.
• Tumble dry low, or dry flat if the pillow has raised embroidery.
• No bleach. Brush velvet and faux fur with a dry hand afterwards to lift the pile.
• Vacuum-packed pillows need 24 to 48 hours out of the bag; shake and knead them to speed it up.

Picture frames

• Dust the cast relief with a soft, dry brush; water can lift a hand-brushed finish.
• Clean the glass from the inside when changing a photo, with a barely damp cloth.
• Keep frames out of direct afternoon sun if the photograph is an original print.

Baskets and ceramics

• Paper rope and cotton rope: wipe dry, keep away from standing water, reshape by hand.
• Stoneware berry baskets: dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
• Tea light ceramics: use LED lights, not open flame, inside closed shapes.
