Both pillows arrive filled with eco-friendly PP cotton and vacuum packed flat, so they need taking out, shaking and 24 to 48 hours of sitting before they are at full volume. It is worth knowing in advance, because a snowflake has arms and the arms are the last part to come back; a couple of days later they are full and even.

The measurements are the reason to buy this particular set. At roughly 21.5 inches wide and 4.7 inches thick, the larger one is genuinely large and genuinely deep, not a flat appliqued square; the smaller sits at about 17.7 inches and 4.3 thick. On a three-seater or a wide bed that difference lets the two layer in front of each other instead of sitting side by side.

The face is a high-quality faux fur with a rich pile, and the PP cotton inside is balanced between fluffy and firm so the thickness stays even across the arms rather than collapsing in the middle. Each one is completely handmade and may vary slightly in size. Machine wash cold and separately, skip the bleach, tumble dry low.
