Description

Red is a hard color to soften. Fringe does it without adding a pattern: the fur edge takes the hard line off the outline and gives the color somewhere to fade out, so a red cushion in a room of dark wood and wool looks like part of the winter rather than an interruption of it.

That makes the pair a December proposition more than a February one. A sofa under a throw, a bench by a fireplace, a dining chair at a laid table: all places where a glossy red shape would look like decoration and a fringed one looks like something you would actually lean on.

Soft faux fur fabric over eco-friendly PP cotton, filled and sewn closed, the larger piece approximately 19.6 inches tall and 14 wide when laid flat. Handmade, so sizes vary a little. Wash cold and on their own, since red travels, then tumble dry low and never bleach.
