What this one is for
The mushroom is the smallest shaped piece we make and the one that behaves most like an object rather than a cushion. At just over 15 inches tall it sits on a shelf, a windowsill or the corner of a bed and holds its shape upright, which is what separates it from a flat printed square with a toadstool on it.
Red with white spots is the storybook version of the shape, and the dots are sewn on as separate rounds rather than printed, so they sit slightly proud of the cap and stay put through a wash. The stem is stuffed as its own chamber, which is why the cap does not fold over when the piece is stood up.
Velvet-feel face with a plush underside and PP fiber inside, filled and closed. Machine wash cold on its own and tumble dry low. Each one is finished by hand, so the cap width and the spacing of the spots differ slightly between pieces.
