What this one is for
The butterfly is the gentlest thing in this section. Blush is a pale, slightly gray pink rather than a sweet one, so it lands closer to a neutral than to a nursery color, and it sits well against white bedding, natural wood and the pale grays most bedrooms are painted in.
The wings are separate stitched panels, which is what gives the piece its outline when it is propped against a headboard. A printed butterfly on a square cushion goes flat the moment it leans; this one keeps its silhouette because the shape is in the seams and the stuffing rather than on the surface.
Shiny velvet face, PP fiber fill, filled and closed. Each is finished by hand, so the wing spread varies slightly from one to the next. Wash cold and separately, tumble dry low, and give it a day out of the vacuum bag to reach full thickness.
