What this one is for
Gold is the version of this shape that gets into rooms the others do not. Red and pink lips announce themselves; a gold one reads first as a warm shine and only second as a mouth, which means it can sit in a living room that has nothing else playful in it without turning the whole sofa into a joke.
At 20 by 11 inches this is the smaller of the two footprints we make, and the one to pick when the piece has to share space. It fits across a dressing table stool, fills the small end of a sectional, and works at the front of a stack of square pillows where the 24-inch version would hide everything behind it.
The face is a velvet-feel polyester over PP fiber fill, sewn closed with no cover to remove. Machine wash cold on its own, tumble dry low, no bleach. It ships vacuum-packed and looks deflated for the first evening; shake it and give it a day or two before judging the shape.
