What this one is for

Open shelving looks wonderful in photographs, where every cube holds three books and a plant, and looks like a cabinet with the doors off in real life. These fit over the openings you do not want on display, so cables, paperwork and the box of things with no home disappear behind a woven panel while the rest of the unit stays open.

The sizes are the whole decision, so both are given: 11.25 inches wide by 11.25 high with the small side piece attached, or 10.75 by 11.25 without it. Measure the cube opening first. The doors sit on a solid metal frame with a magnetic catch, so they close by themselves and open with one finger rather than needing a handle.

Fitting them does not touch the furniture. The adhesive side pieces stick to the bookcase where the hinge needs to be, with no screws and no holes, which also means the unit can be returned to open shelving later. Each door is hand-woven from renewable natural fiber, so no two are quite identical.
