Two slotted stoneware berry baskets in beige with painted blueberries, about six inches square and three deep.
Description
A berry basket is a colander that can stay on the table. The slots let water drain after rinsing and let air move round the fruit afterwards, which is what keeps blueberries from going soft in the bottom of a solid bowl.
The beige glaze with blue fruit is the softer of our two blueberry pairs and sits well with wood and white tile. Stoneware means they go in the dishwasher, the microwave and the oven, and they hold their weight on a shelf when they are empty.
