What this one is for

Office chairs are bought for the mechanism and endured for the look. This is the cheap way out of that: the chair keeps its adjustment and its lumbar support, and stops being a slab of gray mesh in the corner of a bedroom. Pink is the color people choose when the room is not really an office and would rather not look like one.

Fit is the part to check before ordering, because a chair cover that does not fit is worse than no cover. It is drawn for a back 17.7 to 23 inches high and 19.6 to 21.6 inches wide, with a seat 18 to 21.6 inches deep and 21.6 wide. It is not made for armless chairs or high-back executive chairs, and it will not stay put on either.

The front is faux fur, the back is stretch spandex, and side and bottom straps hold it against the frame while an elastic hem gathers underneath. On a chair with a very rounded seat some movement is normal and a periodic tug is part of the arrangement. Machine wash cold and separately, no bleach, tumble dry low.
