Heart Shaped Pillows, Set of 2, 16 in, Cherry Red

Description

A plain red cushion under a ceiling light can look like a block of color with nothing happening on it. The fabric here is a shiny weave with a velvety hand, so the curve of each heart runs from bright to deep as it turns, and the pair reads as two objects rather than two red patches.

Use the two sizes as a front and a back. The larger piece, approximately 19.6 by 14 inches, belongs at the deep end of a sofa or against the headboard; the smaller at approximately 15.7 by 11.2 goes in front of it. Symmetry is what makes two matching cushions look like a window display.

Shiny fabric, eco-friendly PP cotton fill, both filled and closed. Red is the dye most likely to travel, so wash the two together, cold, and well away from anything pale, then tumble dry low. They arrive vacuum sealed and need a day or two before the shape is worth judging.
