The lighting is integrated into both pieces and the design is cordless, which is the whole reason this works where a plug-in village does not. The glow comes out through the decorative detailing rather than from a visible bulb, and there is no cable to run along a mantel or hide behind a stack of books. We describe both pieces as indoor decoration and claim nothing beyond that: no weather rating, no flame.

This is the compact pairing of the three lit sets we make, and the scale is what it is for. At about 5.7 inches each, the house and the tree fit onto a shelf that already has things on it, a bathroom windowsill, a hall console or the corner of a dining table, where the taller village houses would need their own clear space.

The bodies are ceramic, with gingerbread-inspired patterning, snowy accents and festive detail worked into the glaze, and they are built for repeated use rather than for one winter. That matters more for a decoration than it sounds: this is an object that lives in a box for most of the year and has to come out of it looking the same.
