What this one is for
Deep green against gold is a heavier combination than sage, and it needs somewhere heavy to live. On a dark shelf, a paneled wall or a bookcase full of spines, a pale frame disappears and this one does not: the saturated color reads as a solid object and the gold edge draws the outline of it.
It takes a standard 4 by 6 print, which is the easiest size to order, and the oval window turns it into an upright portrait by cropping the corners. That works beautifully on a single face and badly on a group, so choose accordingly before sending the file to be printed.
The body is durable polyresin with a hand-finished surface that keeps the carving sharp, protected by clear, stain-resistant glass. Easel stand and metal hooks are both built into the back, and the back opens without tools.
