What this one is for
Buying two singles and buying a set are not the same thing when the color is this saturated. Dye lots move between production runs, and two vivid pinks bought separately can end up visibly different side by side. A set is cut and dyed together, which is the argument for it if the two are going to sit within sight of each other.
The pair is a larger and a smaller piece rather than two of the same size, which is deliberate: identical cushions at either end of a sofa look like a showroom, while two of different sizes look arranged. Put the large one at the deeper end of a sectional and the small one where people actually sit.
Both are velvet-feel polyester over PP fiber, filled and closed, machine washable cold and tumble dried low. Wash them together so they age at the same rate; a pair that has been laundered separately for a year will stop matching.
