Linen Blend Pillow Covers, 20 x 20 in, Set of 2, Beige and Dark Brown

Description

Twenty inches is the size for a deep-seated or oversized sofa, where a standard 18 sits low against a tall back and reads as an afterthought. Covers only, no inserts included; a 22 inch insert pulls the corners tight on a 20 inch cover, and a 20 inch one leaves it softer, which on a big piece of furniture is a matter of taste rather than a mistake.

Scale changes what a stripe does. On a 20 inch face the woven bands have room to be read as a pattern from the other side of the room instead of as texture you notice when you sit down, so these two cushions carry a large sofa on their own without a patterned throw or a third accent cushion being needed.

Dark brown at this size behaves like upholstery rather than like an accessory. It is a large area of deep color, which is what lets it sit on a big sofa without turning into the color feature of the room, and it is also the tone that shows the least of what daily use puts on a cushion that size.

The cloth is 97 percent polyester with 3 percent linen, with the stripe worked in as a chenille jacquard rather than printed. Hidden zipper in the bottom seam, machine wash cold and separately, do not bleach, tumble dry low.
