A 5 by 7 oval in deep green with brushed gold trim, ornate polyresin molding, clear glass over a standard print.
Description
Deep green is the quieter half of the pair. It carries the same weight as the blue at the same size and shape, but green sits closer to the wood, leather and dark paint that fill studies and dining rooms, so it holds a wall on its own rather than needing a plain background to work against.
Two of these in different colors also make a better arrangement than two identical frames, which is worth saying out loud: a green oval and a blue oval of the same size on the same shelf read as a considered pair, while two greens read as a set someone bought in a hurry.
The oval crops the corners of a 5 by 7 print, so keep the subject centered. Cast polyresin with hand-finished carving, brushed gold on the raised edges, clear stain-resistant glass, easel stand, metal hanging hooks, and an easy-open back.
