An 8 by 10 in off-white with deep rococo relief and a vine at each of the four corners, cast in polyresin.
Description
Scrollwork cut this deep usually arrives gilded, and in a light room that is often too much. Off-white keeps all of the carving and removes the glare: what you read on the wall is the shape of the molding and the shadow inside it, not a bright metal border competing with the picture it surrounds.
It also means the frame works where ornate frames normally cannot. In a bedroom, a nursery or a pale living room, an off-white relief frame at 8 by 10 is a large decorative object that still lets the wall stay quiet, and it is side light from a window rather than a metal finish that brings the vine corners out.
The opening takes a full 8 by 10 print with nothing cropped. Cast polyresin with a hand-finished look so the deep parts of the relief stay sharp, clear stain-resistant glass, an easel stand and metal hooks built into the back for vertical or horizontal hanging, and a backing that opens without tools.
