Description

The visible difference is the surface. Instead of bare solid wood, the frame here is engineered wood wrapped in vegan leather and stamped in gold foil with a Tree of Life motif, so the lamp reads as a decorative object on the shelf even in daylight with the light off. Next to a row of book spines that pattern does something a plain wooden base does not.

The invisible difference is runtime, and it goes the other way from what the weight suggests. At 2.6 pounds this is the lighter of the two, but it runs six to eight hours wireless and up to eight hours even at full brightness, because the included bulb is a 3V 1W LED rather than 2W. If the lamp is going to be on all evening, this is the one to take.

Everything else is shared: USB-C charging in two to three hours with no outlet needed afterward, touch control with smooth dimming from 5 to 100 percent, and a memory function that recalls the last brightness. It is designed as ambient mood lighting rather than reading light, and the bulb is low-voltage, not a 120V fitting. The shade assembles in a moment before first use.
