Solid Wood Bookshelf Lamps, Set of 2, Dark Brown

Description

A bookshelf has two ends and a single lamp only finishes one of them. This is the pair, built in solid wood with a weighted base that holds a row of books upright while it glows, so the shelf gets a matching point of light at either end instead of a bright side and a dark one.

Be clear about the light before you buy: this is ambient and decorative lighting, not reading or task light. It gives a shelf, a desk or a nightstand a warm point of glow in the evening and it will not light a page. A touch on the base cycles three color temperatures, warm light through warm white to cool white, for whichever suits the room.

These plug in rather than charging, which is the whole difference from our cordless bookend lamps: each comes with a 59-inch power cord, so the shelf needs an outlet within reach of that. An E26 6W LED bulb is included with each, so there is nothing further to buy, and the shade takes a moment of assembly before first use.
