Embroidered Merry Christmas Tree Throw Pillow, 18.5 in, Green

Description

One is the right number more often than people admit. A reading chair, a window seat or a stool in a hall takes a single shaped pillow and nothing else, and buying one rather than a pair is also the sensible way to find out whether a tree-shaped cushion suits the room at all.

It is a finished pillow, filled with PP cotton, not a cover waiting for an insert. The vacuum packing means it needs the usual recovery: out of the bag, a good shake, then a day or two sitting out while the filling expands. Each one is handmade, so the outline and the size vary slightly from the next.

The face carries delicate embroidery with raised leaves rather than a print, which is what makes it look handcrafted at close range. In exchange it cannot be washed like a cushion cover: spot clean with a damp cloth, keep it out of the machine and away from bleach, and air dry or iron on low if needed.
