Vintage Christmas Picture Frame, 8 x 10 in, Green and Gold

Description

Eight by ten is where a frame stops being an object on a surface and starts organizing a wall. In green with gold trim that scale reads as a piece of decor in its own right, so it can hang above a console table through the dark months and hold its own against garlands, candles and everything else that arrives with them.

The size also suits what people want framed at this point in the year: a group photograph where nobody has to be cropped out, a child's drawing, a page of sheet music, a print bought at a market. The backing opens without tools, which is what makes swapping the contents a one-minute job rather than a project.

Construction is the same as the smaller frame: polyresin with a hand-finished surface that holds the detail in the deep parts of the molding, clear stain-resistant glass, an easel stand for a wide shelf, and metal hanging hooks built into the back for either orientation.
