Description

It arrives as a finished pillow with eco-friendly PP cotton already inside, vacuum sealed for transit. Shake it out and leave it for 24 to 48 hours; the body fills quickly and the five points are what take the time. Nothing else is needed to use it, and there is no insert size to get wrong.

Gold is the warm half of the pair of single stars we make, and that decides the room. A shiny gold velvet sits with oak and walnut, brass hardware, warm bulbs and cream bedding, where a cool metallic would look like it came from a different scheme. At about 19.6 inches it is large enough to be the only cushion on a chair or the single accent on a made bed.

Velvet with a shiny finish is the reason this works as both a holiday and a year-round piece: the shape is celestial rather than seasonal, so it belongs to a Christmas arrangement in December and to a bedroom in June.
