Description

The measurements are the first thing to settle. The set is two panels, each 52 inches wide by 84 long, with eight silver grommets across the top that take a rod up to 1.5 inches thick. Two panels of 52 inches cover a window properly with some gather in them; on a wide window, check that total against the rod before ordering rather than after.

A semi sheer does a job neither a blind nor a blackout curtain does. The fabric filters harsh sun into a soft, even light and gives daytime privacy from the street without closing the window off, so the room stays bright and the view outside is still there rather than replaced by a flat panel of cloth.

The embroidery is what keeps it from being a plain voile. Wildflower vines are stitched into the sheer ground, so the pattern shows as texture against the light rather than as a print lying on the surface, and the panels sit as easily in a modern farmhouse or coastal room as in a plain contemporary one.

They hang well on their own and also work as the inner layer under heavier curtains when a room needs both light control and the look of a full window. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low or hang to dry, and use a cool iron if the folds need settling.
