Description
Light brown on beige is the softest contrast we weave into this bag, which is what makes it the one to hang in a bedroom rather than a utility closet. On a cream or white painted door it barely registers as laundry storage at all, and next to oak, rattan and linen it reads as a woven wall bag that happens to have something in it.
Whether a hanging hamper is any good is decided at the bottom, and this one unzips. You hold the bag over the drum, pull the zip and let the load drop, instead of lifting 28 inches of full bag over your head and shaking it out. The top is cut wide open so towels and bedding go in without being forced, and the bag sits only 3.5 inches deep against the door.
Two metal hooks come in the box and fit doors between 1 and 1.57 inches thick, so nothing is drilled and no floor is used. An 11 by 8 inch pocket on the front keeps socks and underwear from disappearing into the bottom, and the bag itself is machine washable and built to be reused rather than replaced once it has held damp towels a few times.
