Linen Blend Pillow Covers, 18 x 18 in, Set of 2, Beige and Olive Green

Description

This is the combination that suits the largest number of rooms in the line: the standard 18 inch square in the quietest color we weave it in. Covers only, no inserts supplied, and a 20 inch insert is what fills the corners if you want the face taut rather than soft. The invisible zipper sits in the bottom seam out of sight.

Olive behaves like a neutral without actually being one. It is a green with gray and yellow in it, so it agrees with natural linen, oak, rattan and black metal, and it is the pair to buy when the room already has its color somewhere else, in a rug or a curtain, and cannot take a second opinion from the cushions.

The stripe is chenille woven into the cloth as a jacquard rather than printed on it, which gives the face a texture you feel before you look and a pattern that cannot rub off. In a room of flat painted walls that relief is what keeps a muted cushion from disappearing into the sofa altogether.

The blend is 97 percent polyester with 3 percent linen. Care for this colorway is specific: machine wash the covers inside out in cold water, do not bleach, and dry them by hand rather than in a hot machine.
