What this one is for
The beaded rim is the whole point of this one. Where our carved frames read as European and slightly formal, a row of pearls reads as soft and feminine, which puts it on a vanity, a dressing table or a bedside shelf rather than in a hallway of family portraits. It also sits comfortably next to jewelry, perfume bottles and anything else on that surface with a shine to it.
At 4 by 6 it takes a standard print straight from any photo service with no cropping and no trimming, which is more convenient than it sounds: the 4 by 6 is the one size you can order in five minutes and get right the first time. Portrait or landscape both work, because the hanging hooks are set for either.
Construction is the same as the rest of the range: durable polyresin with a hand-finished look, clear stain-resistant glass over the print, an easel stand for a tabletop and metal hooks for a wall. The backing opens easily, so swapping in a new photo is a one-minute job rather than a project.
