What this one is for

A wall of frames turns into wallpaper when every one of them is a rectangle. One circle in the arrangement stops the eye and makes the whole grid look deliberate rather than accumulated, and a 4 by 4 round is the right size for that job: big enough to register, small enough to sit in the gap between two larger frames rather than demanding its own zone.

The relief is cast in polyresin and hand-finished, so the detail stays crisp in the deep parts of the molding instead of filling in, and the black is broken by a brushed gold along the rim. That two-tone is what keeps it from reading as a plain black office frame: from across a room you see the gold outline first and the ornament second.

Behind the clear, stain-resistant glass the backing opens without tools, which matters on a frame this small, where prying at a stiff back with a fingernail is how photos get creased. It has both a fold-out easel and metal hooks cast into the back, so the same frame works on a shelf or on the wall, in either orientation.
