Vintage Beaded Bow Picture Frame, 4 x 6 in, Golden Bronze

Description

Two soft motifs at once: a ribbon bow across the top edge and a run of beading around the opening. Together they put this frame on a dressing table, a vanity or a bedside shelf rather than in a corridor of family portraits, next to perfume bottles and jewelry and everything else on that surface with a shine on it.

Golden bronze is the reason it does not turn sugary. A bright finish under a bow reads as gift wrap, while bronze is darker and warmer and closer to an old picture frame, so the shape stays romantic and the color keeps it grown up. It sits better on wood than on white lacquer for the same reason.

At 4 by 6 it takes a standard print with nothing cropped and nothing trimmed. Durable polyresin, clear stain-resistant glass over the photograph, an easel stand and built-in metal hanging hooks for either orientation, and a back that opens quickly when the picture changes.
