Vintage Bookshelf Lamp with Bulb, Tree of Life Brown

Description

With the light off, most lamp bases are just a shape on the shelf. This one is wrapped in vegan leather over engineered wood and carries a decorative Tree of Life pattern, so it holds its own in daylight beside a row of book spines rather than waiting for dusk to have a reason to be there.

It does the bookend job at the same time. At 2.6 pounds it has the weight to stop a row of books sliding, which is the point of the shape, and it fits the places a bookend already lives: a shelf, a desk, a nightstand, a display ledge. What it is not is a reading lamp. We build it for mood and decoration, and saying so plainly beats having you buy it to read by.

Control is a touch on the base, cycling three color temperatures from warm light through warm white to cool white, which covers a bedside at night and a study in the afternoon. The E26 5W LED bulb comes with it, so nothing else is needed, and the linen shade goes together in a moment before you switch it on the first time.
