Vintage Christmas Wreath Picture Frame, 4 x 4 in, White and Gold

Description

Finish changes where a frame can go more than shape does. On a cream mantel, a white floating shelf or a pale painted sideboard, a green wreath frame becomes the heaviest object in the composition and the photograph inside it stops being the thing you look at. White with gold leaves the picture as the only dark element, with just enough metal on the detail that the frame does not disappear into the wall behind it.

The square opening is the practical half of the appeal: a 4 by 4 print, straight off a phone, with nothing cropped off the edges. At this size the frames also group well, so two or three of them along a shelf make a stronger run than one on its own, and the white version mixes with the green one without the pair looking like a mistake.

Durable polyresin carries the cast wreath, bow and pine cone detail, and clear glass protects the print from dust and fingerprints. Easel stand and metal hooks are both molded into the back, so it stands or hangs with no extra hardware, and the backing design lets you change the photograph in a minute. It also makes the kind of small gift that gets kept.
