Description

A row of three identical frames is the easiest arrangement to get right and the hardest one to assemble by accident, because three frames bought separately almost never turn out to match. This set is sold as three, so the row already exists: hang them in a line, stack them up a narrow wall, or stand all three along a shelf.

Three is also the number that reads as a sequence. Two frames look like a pair of pictures and four start turning into a grid, but three in a row invite being read from left to right, which is why they suit a story: three ages of the same child, three views of one place, three generations in order.

The pearl-beaded border is softer than the carved molding on our larger frames, and the silver tone keeps it cool rather than warm, so the set sits better on a pale wall or above a dressing table than in a room full of gilt. Each frame takes a standard 4 by 6 print, with clear stain-resistant glass, an easel stand, metal hanging hooks and an easy-open back.
