An 8 by 10 in silver and green, cast polyresin with ornate relief and a brushed finish over the detail.
Description
Nearly everything in this range is a warm metal, and in some rooms that is wrong. Where the taps are chrome, the handles are brushed nickel and the palette runs to white and gray, a gold frame is the one object that refuses to join in. Silver settles into that room instead of correcting it.
Green under silver also behaves differently from green under gold. The warm pairing reads as a study or a dining room; this one reads cooler and closer to eucalyptus and slate, which puts it in a bathroom, a hallway or a bedroom decorated in muted colors rather than deep ones.
The 8 by 10 opening is rectangular, so the print keeps its corners. Durable polyresin with a hand-finished look that holds the intricate detail, clear stain-resistant glass against dust and fingerprints, an easel stand and metal hooks cast into the back, and a backing that opens easily for a new photograph.
