Vintage Picture Frame, 4 x 6 in, Gold and Black

Description

This is the frame to buy when the only question is where to put a photograph. Gold and black agrees with dark wood, painted furniture, brass lamps and whatever frames are in the room already, and 4 by 6 is the size you can fill the same afternoon from any photo counter.

The opening is rectangular, so the print goes in whole and the ornate molding runs as a straight border around it. That pairing of a plain rectangle with heavy cast relief is the European look this range is built on, and the gold along the raised edges keeps the black from reading as office stationery.

Durable polyresin with a hand-finished look, clear stain-resistant glass against dust and fingerprints, an easel stand and built-in metal hanging hooks for either orientation, and a backing that opens easily so the photograph can be swapped in a minute.
