The vine-patterned 5 by 7 in light blue with silver, the largest and palest version of that molding.
Description
Pale blue and silver at 5 by 7 is about as quiet as a decorative frame gets. Against a white or blue-gray wall the frame nearly joins the paint, which leaves the vine visible as relief and the photograph as the only solid thing in the composition. In a room meant for sleeping that is the right order of priorities.
It is also the one to pair with the smaller 4 by 6 in the same finish. Two sizes of one molding standing together make an arrangement that a matched pair never does, with the taller frame set behind and the shorter one in front, on a dresser, a windowsill or a shelf in a guest room nobody wants to overdecorate.
A standard 5 by 7 print fills the rectangular opening with nothing cropped. Durable polyresin, hand-finished so the leaves keep their shape, clear stain-resistant glass, an easel stand, built-in metal hanging hooks, and a back that opens without tools.
