Vintage White Rose Picture Frame, 5 x 7 in, Gold and White

Description

White flowers on gold is wedding vocabulary, and this frame makes very little attempt to be anything else. Roses and vines are cast across the molding in white while the ground behind them stays gold, which is the reverse of our gold-on-dark frames and reads as light rather than ceremonial.

That makes it a better home for the pictures people actually want out on display from a wedding: the pale dress, the flowers, the outdoor light. The same logic covers a christening or an anniversary, and of all our frames it is the one most likely to be given with the photograph already behind the glass.

A standard 5 by 7 print goes in whole, and the back opens by hand on the day the picture is finally replaced with a newer one. The frame is durable polyresin with a hand-finished surface, the photograph sits under stain-resistant glass, and there is an easel for a sideboard and cast-in metal hooks for a wall.
