Description

A pair is the honest count for most open shelving. One or two cubes hold the router, the cables, the paperwork and the box of things with no home, and the rest of the unit is perfectly happy on display. Two doors close exactly those openings, which leaves the shelving looking deliberate rather than half furnished with a row of shutters.

There are two width figures and both decide whether it fits: 13.25 inches wide by 13.25 high with the small side piece attached, or 12.75 by 13.25 without it. Measure the opening first. The doors hang on a solid metal frame with a magnetic catch, so they hold themselves closed and come open under one finger, with no handle to fit and nothing to line up.

Fitting them does not touch the furniture. The side pieces are adhesive, so there is no drilling and no screws, and nothing stops the unit going back to open shelving later. Each door is woven by hand from renewable natural fiber, which is why the weave carries small irregularities and why the two in a set are close rather than identical.
