Description

This is the fuller olive of the two we print, and the difference is what the cushion does in a room. The light version behaves as a near-neutral and recedes; this one holds enough green to be read as a color, so a pair of them on a gray or cream sofa is a decision somebody made rather than a safe default.

At 18 by 18 inches it is the standard sofa size, the one most inserts are made in. Covers only, with no inserts supplied: a 20 inch insert gives the taut showroom face and an 18 gives the soft, slightly hollow one. The hidden zipper sits in the bottom seam, so the insert goes in folded and is opened out inside.

The face is a crosshatch print that mimics a woven fabric while the cloth stays smooth and slightly velvety. In a deeper color the hatching is subtler than it is on a pale one, visible when you are close enough to touch the cushion and gone from the other side of the room, which is why this pair reads as plain from the doorway.

Two covers in the set. Fold, feed, unfold: pushing the insert out into the corners from inside is the whole difference between a cushion that looks filled and one that looks like a cover with something in it, and it takes about ten seconds per cushion.
