An arched 8 by 10 frame in golden polyresin with beaded detail and a bow above the opening, behind stain-resistant glass.
Description
A grid of rectangles ends in a straight line across the top, and that line is what makes some gallery walls look like a spreadsheet. An arched frame breaks it. Put this one at the top of the arrangement, or at the head of a tall stack, and the curve gives the whole group a crown instead of an edge.
The bow and the beaded border do the same work at closer range. They are what the eye finds when somebody stops in front of the wall, and they are also what makes this frame read as romantic rather than formal, which is why it tends to end up holding the wedding photograph or the picture of the two people the wall is about.
Golden is the warmest finish we put on this shape, and warm metal is forgiving in a mixed group: it agrees with brass, with bronze and with other gold frames that are not quite the same gold. Durable polyresin with a hand-finished look, clear stain-resistant glass, an easel stand, built-in metal hanging hooks for either orientation, and an easy-open back.
