A rectangular 8 by 10 in gold with flower detail worked into the ornate molding, with clear glass over the whole print.
Description
This is the gold floral frame with a rectangular opening instead of an oval one, and the difference decides what it can hold. Nothing is cropped here: a group photograph keeps the people at both ends, a certificate keeps its border, and a print bought as art keeps the white margin the printer left around it on purpose.
It is also the easier of the two to place in a group. A rectangle lines up with other rectangles, so this is the frame that fills out the grid while the ovals interrupt it, and in gold it does that without going quiet: the reflective finish keeps it a bright edge in the arrangement rather than one more dark border.
The flower detail runs through the raised relief and the brushing catches the gold on the high points. Durable polyresin with a hand-finished look, clear stain-resistant glass against dust and fingerprints, an easel stand plus built-in metal hooks for hanging vertically or horizontally, and a backing that opens for photo changes.
