Vintage Christmas Picture Frame, 5 x 7 in, Green and Gold

Description

When a mantel gets dressed, the frames on it are usually the thing that looks wrong: plain black rectangles in the middle of greenery and gold. A green frame with a brushed gold trim joins the arrangement instead of interrupting it, and it does not have to be put away afterward, because green and gold is a pairing that lives in a room all year.

Five by seven is the size that sits properly on a mantel, a desk or a nightstand, and it is the print any photo service turns out without a special order. The backing opens easily, so the picture inside can be a family photograph for most of the year and a card, a carol sheet or a small print when the decorations come out.

The body is durable polyresin with a hand-finished look that keeps the ornate detail sharp, and the glass is clear and stain-resistant, which keeps fingerprints off whatever is behind it. An easel stand and built-in metal hooks are both there, so the same frame stands on a surface or hangs vertically or horizontally.
