An 8 by 10 frame in gold with flower detail through the molding and an oval window that crops the print at the corners.
Description
Gold is the finish that takes the center of a gallery wall, because it is the one that reflects. Under a picture light or a lamp it brightens while the frames around it stay flat, so the eye lands there first whatever else is hanging. Hang this one in the middle and work outward from it rather than fitting it in last.
The window is an oval, and that is worth knowing before the print is ordered. The photograph is a standard 8 by 10 and the oval takes the corners off it, so a face or a single figure in the middle survives and a wide group loses its ends. In a grid of rectangles the rounded opening is also the thing that stops the pattern.
The molding carries flower detail over the ornate vintage relief, hand-finished so the carving stays legible down in the recesses. Polyresin body, clear stain-resistant glass keeping dust and fingerprints off the print, an easel stand and built-in metal hanging hooks, and an easy-open back for when the photograph changes.
