A 4 x 6 cast frame with gilded relief over a deep green ground, sized for the snapshot rather than the portrait.
Description
Green under gold is the combination antique dealers call library colors, and it is the one that sits best among books, brass lamps and dark wood. At 4 x 6 it takes a standard print straight from the lab, no trimming.
The glass front is real glass, the stand folds flat against the back, and the hanging hooks let it go up on a wall in portrait or landscape. Polyresin gives it the weight of a much older frame without the chips that come with plaster.
