Vintage Wave Picture Frame, 5 x 7 in, Off White

Description

A wall of white and cream frames goes flat very quickly, and the usual fix is to add a dark one, which breaks the scheme you were trying to keep. The other fix is scale and relief: a larger off white frame with a deeper run of waves holds shadow along one side and gives the group depth without introducing a second color.

At 5 by 7 there is room for the wave to read as a rhythm rather than a trim, so this is the one to hang or stand where it will be looked at directly, with a standard 5 by 7 print inside and nothing cropped. Portrait or landscape both work, because the hooks are set for either orientation.

Polyresin cast and hand-finished, with clear stain-resistant glass over the print and an easy-open back for changes. The easel stand means the same frame can come off the wall and sit on a shelf later without any extra hardware.
